Edwardian mahogany barley twist leg drop leaf table
An unusual mahogany drop leaf table in mahogany as they were usually made in oak.
Original condition and has been loved and looked after.
There are a few marks on the centre bed leaf of the table but these have blended in over time and add to its history and patination.
Dimensions are approximate:-
- The overall length of the top when fully extended is 59 inches.
- The overall width of the centre bed leaf is 38 inches.
- Centre bed leaf size is 38 inches long by 19 inches wide.
- The leaves are 35 inches long allowing for the shape of the oval top
- where they hinge on the centre bed leaf and 20 inches deep.
- Height of the table is 28 inches.
It stands on 6 lovely barley twist legs, the gate legs hinge and swing to support the drop leaves as shown.

Good Quality Reproduction mahogany settee
A good quality reproduction Brazilian mahogany settee.
It has deep crisp detailed acanthus leaf carvings on the front of the arms.
Floral carvings on the top rectangular sections on all of the eight turned and fluted legs.
Lovely vitruvian style scroll carving on the front, side and back rails of the frame.
Lovely original colour and finish, although there is some slight sun light fading on the top back part of the frame.
The upholstery is sound, although could re-cover in your own choice of material.

- Length of front of frame - 6 feet and reduces to back 68 inches.
- Depth 26 inches.
- Height to arm pads 25 inches,
- Height of the back at the centre 40 inches.
